The New Jersey OS/2 & Linux User Group is a descendant of the OS/2 & Linux SIG of the NJ PC Users Group (www.njpcug.org).

We have been meeting in a good location in Hackensack since September 2003 and will be here for the forseeable future.
Please feel free to join us -- all are welcome!

Bring your computers! We have a wired and wireless (802.11b) network running at the meetings as well as ssh access to a running Linux server. Those with another OS will have access to a Linux shell (BASH). This will allow us to all work together when trying new things or going over the basics.

We have been having some interesting and educational meetings in recent months which include an on-site installation of Linux on a desktop, as well as a Linux-OS X dual boot Powerbook. We have been covering Linux certification materials from IBM that have proven to be great reviews of the basics as well as good discussion materials. We have reviewed the latest OS/2-eComStation offerings and may soon review some eBusiness solutions running on OS/2. We will continue with structured and productive meetings, with topics including Linux, Unix, OS/2, and OS X, and others - anything our members are interested in can be discussed, reviewed, and worked with, in a hands-on environment.
