The North Jersey Linux User Group’s purpose is to facilitate learning, creativity, and the advancement of the Gnu/Linux operating system and it’s related software, to assist and grow the existing base of Gnu/Linux users in the northern New Jersey area and to have fun.
The NJLUG primarily accomplishes this goal by demonstrating the use of the Gnu/Linux operating system at it’s regular LUG meetings, by building and sharing a library of Gnu/Linux related materials and by making available a variety of Gnu/Linux distributions to it’s guests and members.
Whether we are comprised of experts or novices, professionals or part-timers, young or old, whoever you are, we have a place for you. We welcome both business and hobbyists discussions at our meetings. Membership in the NJLUG is free and our meetings are open.
